The Knitting Addict: First Attempts

I've always been fascinated with knitting and crocheting, and my first two attempts occurred even before I went to school. I lost the interest quickly, considering I was only 5 or 6 at that time. My mother was buying lovely clothes for me, and even if you already have some interest in fashion and style at that age, it hardly inspires you to actually try and make something yourself.

A craft like knitting is very popular in Russia. I recall at least two animated features about female knitters, and what I particularly loved was the animation of their knitting needles. As I began to knit, I realised that what I used to see on screen was absolutely not what was in reality. But it was inspiring none the less.
